Summary:

Anna's Review:

Private Dicks by Katie Allen is a hot and sexy read. Ms. Allen provides a great cast of secondary characters as well as an engrossing plot that really delivers a strong effective story.

I fell in love with both Rhodes and Wash because they have such wonderful chemistry. I admired Rhodes resiliency in adjusting to a new career and direction in his life after losing his job as a cop. Although he left it behind, it really seemed like the cop characteristics were ingrained in him. I loved how level-headed and humorous Wash was despite a conflicted childhood and no obvious male role models to help shape him into the person he eventually grows up to be. They both seemed like total heart-breakers with a strong set of ethics, which allows them to do the right thing.

I think that Ms. Allen successfully delivered a potent duo who captivated us and left us wanting for more. I'm eager to read more from this talented author and expect only great things. The story had a great sense of completeness, which really didn't leave any room for error and introduced many promising secondary characters who I'm hoping will show up in future stories. I think that you'll be seduced by the dynamics of Rhodes and Wash's relationship and will be left hankering for more hot and sexy scenes. Private Dicks by Katie Allen is certainly a scorcher and not only delivers memorable protagonists, steamy sex scenes but also captivates you with a tapestry of rich relatable characters with great emotional depths.
